Dr. Kylie Stinar is a new graduate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2020 with a passion for both large and small animals alike!
Dr. Stinar spent her childhood growing up in both California and Minnesota where she cultivated her passion for animals. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Medicine as well as minors in both Animal Science and Biochemistry from the University of Arizona. She has worked in a variety of jobs to help her achieve this dream. She worked with her local veterinary practice in high school and during summers, gained food industry experience in undergrad at the food product and safety lab, worked as a veterinary assistant at an emergency hospital, and worked at her veterinary college's diagnostic lab.
Dr. Stinar loves combining traveling with volunteering. She has been to Costa Rica and Nicaragua several times spaying and neutering dogs and cats, and Massachusetts where she worked exclusively with an alpaca specialist.
Dr. Stinar has a special passion for surgery, rehabilitation, farm animal medicine and care, and advanced imaging to name a few. Some of her favorite patients include dogs, cats, goats, alpacas, ferrets, cattle, and horses. She is currently pursuing her physical rehab certification through the University of Tennessee; which she plans on completing by the end of this year and bringing this service to you!
Dr. Stinar currently owns two cattle dogs Cooper (left) and Indie (right) as well as 2 ferrets. When not working she likes to cook, bake, garden, hike, and paddle board.
Dr. Kylie Stinar is excited to live here in Prineville and can't wait to meet everyone!
